Jones Bay Wharf service to 4Mb/s
Effective 1 October 2005, the main incoming feed to Jones Bay Wharf was upgraded to 4Mb/s. This service has the potential to be upgraded further in the future, depending upon demand.
The service supplies corporate-grade Internet access to over fifteen clients on the wharf. The service may be ordered as a 1Mb/s, 2Mb/s or 4Mb/s shared service.
The service may be provided with any combination of bundled data, depending upon the client's requirements.
The service may also be provided as a 1:1 contented service for those clients wishing to have a dedicated high-speed link where latency is an issue.
Note: due to the Wharf's location (over 4km from the Glebe exchange) it is not possible to get high grade ADSL or SHDSL services over 512kb/s.
The following clients are currently using the service:
- Crawford Architects
- Doltone House
- The Shooting Star Picture Company
- Conergy
- Kin Design Group
- John Waters Holdings
- Evocatif
- Bickham Court Group
- Bloch International
- Four Arrows
- Kookaburra Challenge
- Cornish Group
- GMO Australia
- Frantic Films
- Bizcaps
